To this end, Unave has adopted the legally required levels of protection and has implemented all technical measures available to prevent loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorised access by third parties. Purpose of Data Processing

All personal data provided by customers and/or visitors via the Unave website or directly to its staff will be included in a record of processing activities under the responsibility of Unave. Such data is necessary to provide the services requested, or to respond to enquiries or requests submitted by users.

Unave does not create user profiles.

Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contractual relationship: When you purchase our products or contract our services.

  • Legitimate interest: To respond to enquiries or complaints and to manage the collection of outstanding payments.

  • User consent: When users submit their data through the website contact forms by ticking the corresponding checkbox, authorising Unave to send communications necessary to respond to their request.

Data Recipients

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law. For example, tax regulations may require certain information to be provided to the Tax Authority regarding economic transactions exceeding a specific amount.

If, outside these cases, it is necessary to share personal data with other entities, the user’s prior consent will be requested through clear and explicit options.

Data Retention

Once the relationship with the user has ended, personal data will be duly blocked and retained for the statutory limitation period applicable to any liabilities arising from the relationship.

Blocked data will not be accessible to Unave and will only be made available to public authorities, courts and tribunals, or used for the defence of legal claims or compliance with legal obligations.

Data Security

Unave makes all reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of personal information processed within its systems. Appropriate security measures are implemented to protect personal data against accidental loss and unauthorised access, processing or disclosure.

However, Unave cannot be held responsible for the use made by users of their login credentials. All staff comply with strict privacy standards, and third-party service providers are required to comply with equivalent standards and may be audited for compliance.
